Licensed RWC & COI Kedron

A roadworthy inspection checks that your vehicle meets the required safety standards for use on Queensland roads. Evektus Automotive can inspect your vehicle and identify any items that may need attention before a certificate can be issued.

We also provide Certificates of Inspection (COI) in Brisbane for applicable vehicles. We will be able to inspect your vehicle based on the necessary inspection criteria and inform you whether it requires repair or maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions

While both checks focus on vehicle safety, they differ in the type of vehicle and registration requirements that apply. The Roadworthy Certificate is all about meeting minimum safety requirements, whereas COI is a check on specific types of vehicles, with added inspection requirements.

The validity of a Certificate of Inspection (COI) is usually for one year. The COI will have to be updated as and when required.

A Roadworthy Certificate is valid for 3 months or 1,000 kilometres, whichever comes first, from the issue date.
